Description
New York`s Comprehensive Home Care Services employs competent, caring and compassionate home health care professionals and therapists. Our talented, dedicated professionals and our entire staff strive to meet the needs of our clients with sensitivity, commitment and concern. We’d like you to join our team.
We have available openings for both full time, part time and per diem staff within our newly established agency. We are looking for motivated, self starters that want to get involved on the ground floor of this very exciting program.
We’re seeking an organized, experienced licensed Physical Therapist to develop, implement, and coordinate therapy and treatment programs incorporating screening, evaluation and intervention.
Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in clients
• Evaluate clients strength, motor development and function, sensory perception and circulatory efficiency using tests and observations; document and produce reports and assess data
• Administer manual exercises, massage and decrease or prevent deformity and crippling
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred
• Bilingual a plus
• NYS Licensure
• Professional liability insurance
• Minimum 2 years previous experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Office Suite and Outlook
